The new governance will see the two founders, Claudio Rossi and Gianluca D’Agostino, become Co-CEOs within Neomobile Group.
Rome, 20th of May 2015 – Eight years since its incorporation, Neomobile announced today an important change in its organization, becoming a Co-CEO structure, with Claudio Rossi joining Gianluca D’Agostino at the top of the Group.
D’Agostino and Rossi, both founders of Neomobile, have been working together side by side in the role of CEO and COO respectively since 2007, and have jointly built the leading mobile commerce company.
Today Neomobile announced this organization change, which aims to fuel the Group’s strategic outlook, strengthening its core business and boosting the B2B mobile payment business unit: Onebip.
D’Agostino will now be focusing primarily on Onebip, the global mobile payment service, launching innovative products to boost monetization for digital merchants and app developers.
Rossi will be dedicated to Neomobile’s core business, aiming to expand Neomobile’s markets into new business regions, and launch new projects to spread the advertising monetization business.
Commenting on this evolutionary step, D’Agostino highlighted: “We see an increased number of opportunities around us and we know that we have the assets, the credibility and the know-how to take advantage of them and to grow even further. To empower our strategy we are giving more independence and investing more into Onebip, aiming to make it a world class leader in mobile monetization. Stay tuned for future Onebip announcements.”
Rossi said: “After several years as COO of Neomobile, I proudly assume this new role aiming to focus on our core business, develop new projects and scout new markets. I will keep working hard to improve Neomobile as a learning organization able to compete and win in our challenging markets.”
