Onebip´s developer gets featured on InfoQ, an influential website for the software development community
Onebip developer Giorgio Sironi was mentioned in a recent article on “Microservices and Shared Libraries” published by InfoQ, an influential website for the software development community with a readership base of 1 million unique visitors per month globally.
Giorgio was quoted together with Robert C. Martin (Uncle Bob), leading software professional and author of landmark books such as “Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftmanship” and “Agile Software Development: Principles, Patterns and Practices”, after arguing against Robert’s advice that developers should start with shared libraries and a plugin architecture before introducing services boundaries and microservices.
In his blog post, Giorgio emphasises how different the interactions between microservices are compared to the interactions between objects inside a single application and warns of the cost of retrofitting microservices over an existing code base.
