This month I’d like to highlight four new features that we’ve added to the Onebip web and mobile payments API: Notification, Unsubscription, Blacklist and Back office services. I’ve summarised these new services below but, you can also get the full details in our API on the Onebip website.
1. Onebip Notification Services
This service allows merchants to receive and review real-time notifications of billing events, status updates for subscription payments as well as monitor and report these activities.
Real time billing event notifications: You can receive real-time notifications for successful and unsuccessful payments including failure code details.
Real time subscription state event notifications: This allows you to track the status of your subscription service at any time to find out if the service is activated, renewed, successful or cancelled.
Real-time reporting: The real-time reporting and monitoring service is available on the Onebip merchant panel and corresponds with the real-time billing event and subscription state event notifications.

2. Onebip Unsubscription Service
This service gives you the opportunity to change the status of any subscription service from ‘active’ to ‘inactive’ at any time.

3. Onebip Blacklist Service
This service gives you the opportunity to ‘blacklist’ one or more MSISDN’s or a Onebip user which has performed at least one one-time or subscription based payment through one of your services. This operation is also reversible.

4. Onebip Back-office Service
The Onebip Back-office service will allow you to retrieve exhaustive and asynchronous information for one-time and/or subscription-based payments of your services in Onebip. This API will give you great visibility and help you track the statistics for all payment transactions associated with your one-time and/or subscription based services. There are 3 functions that Onebip provides through its Back-office API as detailed below.
Transaction data: You can retrieve the data for any payment transaction associated to any of your services in Onebip. The transaction data can be detailed and filtered optionally for example, by date or type of service.
Transaction Statistics: You can retrieve aggregated data for all transactions associated to any of your services in Onebip. This will help you track statistics for all the payment transactions of your one-time and/or subscription based services in Onebip. The aggregated transaction statistical data can be detailed and filtered optionally for example, by date, country, mobile network, type of service (one-time or subscription), context (PC web, Mobile web) and many other filters.
Subscription customer base status API: You can retrieve aggregated data for your subscription customer base and track your customers’ subscription behaviour in a more visible way. The aggregated data contains active subscribers and all the subscription service events related to your service.
